Rhyl City Strategy has gained recognition for its partnership
working, through a nomination by Princes Trust Cymru for their
"Partnership Innovation Award 2008". City Strategy staff
attended a nominees' event in mid October at Cardiff Football Club,
where we received our certificate from the Director of Wales Julie
May along with Cardiff City Football Club Captian Darren
Purse. Rhyl City Strategy made it to the final shortlist, and
attended an award ceremony in Cardiff City Hall on 29th October
hosted by Carol Vorderman, where a good night was had by all.
The success of this training has enabled 8 of the young people
to find employment, with two others going on to further
education.
