Directory of Employability Support Services 2010

Where to go in Rhyl for help and advice with finding work and training

Produced by Rhyl City Strategy

Welcome to the Directory of Employability Support Services for Rhyl. The Directory was created and produced by Rhyl City Strategy. Rhyl City Strategy brings together a range of organisations in partnership to tackle unemployment and economic inactivity in Rhyl.

The Directory aims to provide information on services available to help people move towards and into work. Employability can be described as the ombination of factors and processes which enable people to progress towards or get into employment, to stay in employment, and to move on in the workplace.

This directory lists both alphabetically and by the ‘client group’. This should make it easier to find services that specifically focus on the needs of different groups. The directory provides a description of the services provided, contact details and information on eligibility criteria and referral routes, where appropriate. The directory also contains information on the stage of the ‘Employability Pathway’ the service most relates to. The Pathway sets out 5 stages to help people move into work, and to provide support to people whilst in work. Please note that in work support is often only available to existing clients of the service.
